other people who helped make the movie. It's really awful to be
honest, I mean the people wrote the book the movie was based on but
they don't recieve an award for it winning at the Oscars? Bit rude.

Usually they are paid a fee for the use of their book. Sometimes the
author is invited as a guest of someone from the movie. Precious
author Sapphire went to the Oscars as a guest.
