Houston Venezia: The Pontiac Vibe may be an excellent car for you. The Vibe is a compromise between having plenty of space and still being fuel efficient makes it ideal for commuting and long distance driving. The 2008 model will get you up to 33 highway/26 city. For a place to find the Vibe and other models, GM Certified will have options that under warranty and come with other owner incentives. For newer vehicles, the Sonic and Cruze are excellent options. As for insurance rates, once you pick a car, contact an insurance agent to find out what the premiums will be. It varies by year, model and type of coverage.
