Nikki Sypult: I had the best time yesterday! We turned the day into comic day and read tons of comics. We bought some older comics from the shop as well. I got Bongo and Blackest Night (I cant wait for that story line this summer). One of the kids that I was with got the alien vs. predator and has decided to get the predator series that is coming out soon. Yesterday was a great day. Today we are having a tailgate party and reading comics!
Asa Soho: For me, it was surprisingly expensive for an event called FREE comic book day. o_o Bought 2 TPBs and 3 mangas. >_>
Rubye Bonnin: It's always a good thing to support you comic shops by buying something when you're there for Free Comic Book Day. (They do have to pay for those). We spent a good amount on other things and picked up about 10 different free comics. :)Sadly our local shop didn't advertise it at all thus defeating the purpose of free comic book day in the first place....Show more
