Marvella Benward: Probably because they werent exposed to it at a young age, and never heard any that touched them.Also writing poetry about something you care about can get you interested.As for myself, it's rare for me to like any poetry. Sometimes it doesnt make sence, sometimes I just don't get it. (Two different things.) Sometimes I think it's phoney or stupid.Poetry has to have some meaning to you before it can touch you, and poetry is definately not main stream....Show more
